Image above is one of the restored funeral masks from the mezzanine. The two originals were broken into dozens of pieces, beyond repair. I reassembled one model using pieces from both of the originals, missing parts were modeled new.
Then I made a silicone mold of this model, and produced two brand new masks. The final decoration, shown in this image, done by Restoration Associates. They are restoring the paint and gilding throughout the theatre. Below is an example of the other masks (6), restored and unrestored. |
