This page contains some
more pictures of the embellishments at the Empire after they have been
restored by Restoration Associates and Battersby Ornamental. There are
several of these pages, and other pages with construction and pre restoration

The eagle above appears
on both sides of the theatre above the first balcony. I will be adding
a picture here soon of Hannibal Pianta in his shop with the original model
for this piece of work and the surrounding area. The eagle is in the center
of a large triangular panel.

The photo above is an
example of part of the underside of both the first and second balconies.
It was taken during construction, and you can see part of the center is
not quite finished. The photo below shows a square column with cap and
brackets that is one of two in the second balcony.
