This page contains some
more pictures of the embellishments at the Empire after they have been
restored by Restoration Associates and Battersby Ornamental. There are
several of these pages, and other pages with construction and pre restoration
photos. There is a link near the bottom of this page to the Restoration Associates website.

The photograph above is
a view from the orchestra level floor looking up at a bracket that was
cast by Battersby Ornmntl. We removed an original piece that hangs under
the first balcony and reproduced it in order to replace two that were missing.
This ornament is 38" long x 14" high x 16" wide. I was assisted in casting
and hanging these ornaments by my brother Richard. The gold leaf and powdered
paints were applied by Restoration Associates (Cisi Jary and Pamela Rosser).

The photo above is a bracket
with a mask applied looking down into an orchestra level box seat area.
This is an original ornament from 1914 that was underwater for awhile in
1921.
