This page tells where plaster comes from, etc. It is interesting, even
though it concentrates on sheetrock, one of the major factors in the demise
of the plaster trade. I was around to witness the downfall of the once
proud trade that my father, Tom, and grandfather, Charlie, practiced from
the early 1920s on, and taught me to use, both for personal satisfaction
and betterment, and as a way to "pay the bills".

This link will take you to an opinion of Andrew's, regarding art and architecture.
To quote him (03 12 99) - "I wrote this about 2 years ago; I may have mellowed a little
since then and might not be so harsh if I did it today". It is an interesting
opinion, and there is also a link there to his web site, which covers a
wide variety of sculpture related subjects, etc. Going to United Artworks.com
is highly recommended.
