This is a photograph that
I snapped in about 1994, when we were doing the restoration work on the
house right box surround. This photo shows the new decoration at the top
of the box surround and part of the box surround dropping down at the left.
This phase was undertaken as an example of the beauty that could be regained
by saving the Empire theatre. This phase generated much interest in totally
revitalizing the theatre. The pastel looking colors were applied sometime
after 1921.
